Planet Studio was originally set up back in the 90's by Dean Browne on the back of his extremely
successfully DJ career. Dean knows what is needed in a track to make it a floor filler and soon mastered
studio techniques to a fine art. It was hard to go into a club and not hear a few pre-production tracks he had produced
and sold on during a night.

In 2000 Dean teamed up with Reka, also an established DJ
(DJ Reka: New Dawn, Signal Radio, Energy L' amour (Love Energy), The Limit, Hamilitons, Sunset Radio, Sunny Side Up etc.)

Together they worked on pre-production tracks and a great partnership was formed. The tacks coming out of the studio at
this time were simply stunning and awe inspiring, pushing the boundaries for the genre every time.

In 2009, Dean decided once again to set up another recording studio. The investment into his new studio is phenomenal.
and the result is a studio that far exceeds industry standard and specifically tailored to the 'Urban' genre.

When the studio was nearing completion, Dean coaxed Reka back into the studio and the partnership was reformed.

With the duo back in action Planet Studio was born.

In August 2009, Gavin Phillpots came onboard. Gavin is a headliner DJ that has recently returned
from Ibiza and plays at Pacha.
