Deans Biography

One night summer 1989, a slightly mind altered 16 year old stood on the dance floor of the Hacienda. Looking up in ore at Mike Pickering, one of the most influential dj’s ever to have lived !!! That was it, I was going to be  a dj… Working in an electrical store at the time I quickly purchased my first set of soundlab belt drive decks and headed off to Spininn Records to purchase some tunes. It was at Spinninn that I met some top djs like Mark XTC, Paul Hypnotic and Jay Prescot; who to this day remain dear friends of mine. I then spent the next 6 months devoting every spare minute into learning to mix and buyin tunes. Then by 1989 armed with my mix tape, a chance meeting with an influencial promoter  in the toilets of (at the time) one of the most reputable clubs in the uk I handed over my tape and within weeks got my first play in a club. This lead to over a ten year career in djng that saw me listed on flyers next to the likes of Carl Cox, Ggroovrider, Fabio and the Prodigy to name a few …..

By 1999,tired of playin other peoples records and travelin the length and bredth  of the country week in week out, I decided to trade decks in for my first roland workstation the rest is as the  say history.

I now have  over ten years studio and producing experience  under my belt and at present have no desire to quit you havn’t yet seen the best of me watch this space
